Examiner Application available in spring.

Michigan Performance Excellence recipients announced!

Two organizations have been named recipients of the Michigan Performance Excellence Award.

Davenport University, located in Grand Rapids, and Special Tree Rehabilitation System, located in Romulus, have been selected as 2020 recipients of Michigan's highest award for quality.

Both organizations underwent a rigorous evaluation by teams of examiners, first independently, then as a team, and finally during a nearly week long site visit.  The decision to bestow the top award was made by an independent Panel of Judges.

Organizations recognized at this level demonstrate effective, systematic, well-deployed approaches responsive to at least the overall questions of Criteria Items.  The organization demonstrates fact-based, systematic evaluation and improvement processes and organizational learning, including innovation, which results in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of key processes.

Results address key customer/stakeholder, market, and process questions, and they demonstrate areas of strength against relevant comparisons.

We're thrilled to have two such high-performing exemplars of excellence in Michigan!
